2012.

Hey Guys!

Since you have to post on my blog this week I figured I would let you know that the movie 2010 was AMAZING! I'd see it again in a heartbeat. It's a combination of The Day After Tomorrow, Knowing, and Titanic. I haven't sat on the edge of my seat during a movie in a long time - definitely suggest seeing it :)

  1. The Day After Tomorrow is one of my favorite action flicks and I love John Cusack as much as the next girl, but I have no desire to see 2010. Glad you liked it though!

  2. Hmm, I don't know. Judging from the preview (which I guess I've learned isn't the best way to judge a movie) it looks like an entire movie of taking off in planes, trains, jets, and cars...and a whole lot of special effects. Is this true?

  4. I've heard both extremes - loved it or hated it. I want to see it in the theatres with a huge popcorn and a soda -- enjoy it for the ride it seems to be!

  6. I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's IMDB rating is about a 6/10 and most of the reviews I read were negative. I'm surprised that, from what I have heard, there is little mention of the Mayan 2012 prophecy since that's where the concept originated. I'm also curious as to how a movie like this ends...

  7. I've seen The Day After Tomorrow and Titanic (both good movies). I haven't seen Knowing yet but I want to. I'm glad to hear 2012 is so good because I've been wondering if I want to see it or not.

  8. A little off topic, but has anyone gone to see the new Twilight? Or is anyone even into that stuff?! haha I've only heard great things about it from the "twi-hards," so obviously they will say it's amazing! I never read the books or saw the first movie, so I'm just curious to see if anyone is in the same boat as me! I probably won't go see it... it can wait to be Netflix'd :)

  10. Hear, hear on the Cusack comment! I've heard the characters are not empathetic and lack depth of any kind. I'll still see this film though.

And, Amy, I watched the first Twilight film out of curiosity and actually enjoyed it. I won't see the next one in the theatre, but may add it to my NetFlix queue when the time comes...if I am feeling curious again.

  11. I saw Twilight this weekend, liked it way better than the first!

I think I'm going to wait on 2012 until video. I've heard mixed reviews.
